Brief Instruction
Solder the I2C connector to the compass sensor. For the compass sensor to work, it is critical that the I2C connector is in the right direction. Make sure the I2C connector pins go through the VCC, GND, SCL and SDA ports on the sensor. (Ignore the INT port.) Turn the sensor with I2C connector around and solder the 4 pins from the bottom side.
The cable also has different sides. The red-black-white-orange side plugs into the sensor. The black-orange-red-white side plugs into the Zircon robot.
